| The fruity beer the best known is the kriek. But there are other delicious beers made with fruit. In general these are beers of spontaneous fermentation. The flavours are very diversified (raspberry, blackcurrant, peach, grapefruit, etc). Currently, we have an explosion of different fruity beers, which are strongly appreciated by the young consumers. As we said already, the fruity beers, following the kriek example, do not belong exclusively to the category of spontaneous fermentation beers. For example, some are brewed starting from a white beer. The fruity beers are generally made with juices or syrups rather than with fruits. |
